Fox finds a beautiful new coat that, though too long, feels as if it were made for her. But as she leaves the clothes shop proudly wearing it, a loose thread catches in the doorway. As Fox makes her way home, she is unaware that her beautiful coat is slowly unravelling. She meets various friends en route but is far too busy to stop and chat and so doesn't hear their warnings. Gradually all her friends are caught up in the woolly mess. When Fox arrives home her coat has completely disappeared and the tangled friends appear with the wool to make her a new coat that fits perfectly - and really is made for her!
